Calculator figures

The CIS calculators run in your browser. Invoice amounts, materials, expenses and other figures you type are not sent to or stored on our servers, except when you choose to use the "Explain my CIS pay" feature. In that case the figures are sent to our AI provider to write your explanation and are not used to identify you.

Email addresses

If you sign up for CIS rate reminders or ask us to send figures to your accountant, we use your email address only for that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Payments

Payments for statements and document packs are handled by third-party payment providers. We never see or store your card details.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads. See our cookie policy for details and how to opt out.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email us via the contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
